Senior Pet Care
Most pets are considered senior citizens by 7 years of age. All senior pets should have an annual Senior Health Profile. This can add years to your pet’s life by detecting disease and illness before they have progressed to an irreversible or non-treatable stage. A senior health profile will screen Your pet’s liver and kidney, check the blood glucose and other blood chemistries. In addition, a complete blood count is performed, a urinalysis, and a thyroid test. A thorough physical exam is performed and then you will meet with the doctor to discuss recommendations that can help Your pet live a longer, healthier, more comfortable life.
Answer the questions on the Senior Health Checklist. If you answer yes to 2 or more questions, Your pet will benefit from a Senior Health Profile.
