6 months	If desired, this is the ideal age to spay your female kitten. The incidence of mammary tumors is greatly reduced if spayed before heat. Male kittens should be neutered by 5-6 months of age to discourage subsequent spraying or fighting.
6 months	FIV Vaccine

Our Vets are members of the TAVP (Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice), which requires its members to take a minimum of 150 credit hours every three years. The time and expense veterinarians must invest to maintain 50 hours annually of continuing education is why only 7% of Texas veterinarians are members of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice.
