The holidays have passed and there have been many gifts received, including puppies and kittens! One of the most important tasks as a new owner of a puppy or kitten is having them examined by a Veterinarian and keeping them up to date on vaccines. Puppies have a high probability of contracting the very harmful and potentially deadly parvo virus without the vaccine, this is just one example of an illness that can be prevented by vaccination. Kittens have a higher chance of contracting the potentially fatal feline leukemia virus if not vaccinated. It is important to start puppies and kittens off on the right track and keep them vaccinated throughout adulthood to assist in helping them live long, healthy lives. We offer a series of vaccines and deworming for both puppies and kittens for the appropriated ages of 6 weeks to 16 weeks. Ask us about the puppy plan or kitten plan when making your appointment.
