Dr. Henry on Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners

Dr. Henry has been nominated to the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Nine people each serve six year terms on this Board – all appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The board is composed of six practicing veterinarians and three members of the public. “I am humbled and honored to have been chosen to serve the state of Texas as a member of the TSBVME board”. – Dr. J. Our Vets are members of the TAVP (Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice), which requires its members to take a minimum of 150 credit hours every three years. The time and expense veterinarians must invest to maintain 50 hours annually of continuing education is why only 7% of Texas veterinarians are members of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice.
